Postpartum Doula Services

Soltara Postpartum Doulas provide unparalleled support and compassionate care during one of the most vulnerable times a family will experience. Following our overall mission of increasing Body Literacy for childbearing women, our Postpartum Doulas not only help care for your baby, they help care for you as a woman and new mother. They are experts in postpartum healing and rehabilitation, as well as newborn care specialists, and breastfeeding educators. In addition to these physical skills, they are also well-versed in emotional support so they can be a safe, unbiased, listening ear and shoulder to cry on.  When you invite a Soltara Postpartum Doula into your home, you can rest and shower in peace. Your child(ren) will be loved and nurtured, your dishes washed, floors swept, meals prepped. At the end of the shift you not only be well rested, you will be equipped with new skills, empowered with evidence based information, and walk away with a new confidence in your role. 
Postpartum support must be scheduled in blocks of 4 - 8 hours. We do not offer overnight support at this time.
