Q: Do you offer payment plans? 

A: Depending on your due date, yes! Full payment must be received by 36 weeks gestation but can be broken up monthly if you prefer. A 10% discount is applied if you pay in full at the time of hire. We also have a Birth Doula Fund program to help with payment. 

 

Q: What type of births do you support?

A: Hospital births, birth center births, and homebirths with a qualified midwife. C-sections, inductions, vaginal deliveries and VBACs. Natural birth, medicated births, and births where the baby will be placed for adoption. 

 

Q: How do you support the father/husband/partner?

A: This, as with all our services, are customized to the unique needs of each couple. If the dad wants to be very active and hands-on, we can guide him in ways to be most helpful via massage and counter pressure. If he is more comfortable serving as emotional support then your doula will take the lead on physical support measures. We also provide educational and logistical support for the dads by answering their questions, helping them to feel confident in their roles, bringing them coffee or lunch, etc. 

 

Q: What type of discounts do you offer?

A: If you opt to pay in full, up front, an automatic 10% discount will be applied. If you are a returning repeat client we offer an additional 10% discount. 

 

Q: Do you offer a sliding scale or income based discount?

A: No, not at this time.  We offer a 10% discount for payment in full, payment plans, and our Birth Doula Fund program allows your friends and family to contribute towards the total cost.
